Educational Programs for Young Children

Kid's World offers a variety of services for children 1-5 years.  Kid's World will provide a nurturing environment for each child to expand their knowledge and grow as an individual. 

Kid's World strives to provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children to explore and discover learning through a variety of ways.  We strive to offer a learning environment and varied experiences that are developmentally appropriate for each child to grow socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. 

Learning occurs through both student-initiated and teacher-initiated lessons through experiencing and doing in a multi-sensory environment.

     "When the time came for me to enroll my daughter in preschool through the Berkeley County school system, I have to say that, as a former teacher, I was less than thrilled with what they had to offer for pre-k/preschool program: Extremely disappointed is probably the best way to put it.  However, right around the same time, I discovered Kid’s World, and I am forever grateful that I did.  After meeting with the director of the school, Dawn, and touring the facility, I immediately enrolled my daughter in Kid’s World.  I cannot stress enough the creativity, talent, and attention to detail that Dawn puts forth toward every aspect involved in Kid’s World.  I could go on and on about how many times I’ve found myself saying, “Wow, what a great idea,” after witnessing one of Kid’s World’s projects, classroom rules, or clever teaching tools, but I fear I would never stop bragging about the school.  If you are considering sending your child to preschool, I sincerely believe that Kid’s World is the best option; it really is the most friendly, clean, and thorough preschool around.  I would also highly recommend enrolling your child in one of the many mini classes offered at Kid’s World—it would be a great way for both parent and child to get to know what the school is all about.  Speaking from experience, the mini art classes are fantastic!  Both of my daughters enjoyed each and every class and are eager to return for more lessons!  Now that is education at its best."
